John Henry’s Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning Co. was started on September 12, 1996 with a commitment to strong customer service and a motto of “Quality at a Reasonable Cost”. The result of these philosophies and dedicated effort resulted in John Henry’s becoming the fastest growing plumbing, heating and air-conditioning company in the history of Lincoln, Nebraska. There are currently over 50 members on the John Henry’s team. John Henry’s provides no overtime fees from 7am-7pm with 24-hour service available, 365 days a year. During regular working hours the customer service team can answer questions and provide scheduling to meet your needs. Our answering service provides support after hours and can connect you directly to a trained service technician.

Team Member Selection
Each team member at John Henry’s is carefully selected to ensure they reflect the attitude and culture we believe so strongly in. By advertising word of mouth, newspaper and online candidates provide their credentials. From there we utilize a combination of tools including Culture Index a tool which helps us match potential candidates to a job that fits their natural talents. Of course experience, education, skills testing and other traditional tools are put to work. After initial screening and criminal background check the initial interview process takes place with several associates. A second set if interviews is initiated after the first if they show outstanding potential. Candidates that appear to be a good fit are then drug tested before starting work at John Henry’s. After being hired, performance reviews are provided to give feedback to associates on what they do well and where they can improve. Some associates thrive in this environment while others do not. Not all associates prove to be long term fits for the JH team. .
